MEET LAURA

Trauma and Postpartum Therapist in West Chester, PA

You might be navigating long-standing attachment wounds that resurface during this season of life, postpartum anxiety, or identity shifts in motherhood. You may be carrying the weight of trauma you never had space to process, or patterns you’ve tried to change on your own and couldn't.

You've probably been trying to figure it out on your own for a long time. That takes a quiet kind of courage. And if previous therapy left you feeling unheard, stuck, or like you were just scratching the surface, I want you to know that's not the whole story of what therapy can be. The approach matters enormously, and this one is different.

I'm Laura, trauma and postpartum therapist, and I help women break the cycles they inherited so they can build something different for themselves and their families.

MY WHY

These seasons are messy, beautiful, and deeply formative.

They can also surface anxiety, birth trauma, postpartum depression, and relational patterns you thought were long behind you. I've sat with so many women in exactly these moments, and what I know to be true is this: what you're feeling makes sense. Your nervous system is doing exactly what it learned to do.

What continues to inspire me is the brain's remarkable capacity for healing. Through neuroplasticity, new experiences of safety, understanding, and connection can gently reshape patterns that once felt permanent. At the heart of my work is a simple belief: people have everything they need to heal. When the nervous system begins to feel safe enough, the mind and body already know how to move toward healing.

You might be here because:

  • You're overwhelmed, stuck in your thoughts, or disconnected from yourself

  • You're navigating pregnancy, postpartum, loss, or infertility

  • Your past keeps showing up in your present relationships

  • You want to break a cycle but don't know where to start

  • You've tried talk therapy and felt like something was missing

  • You're ready to heal at the root, not just manage the surface

OUTSIDE THE OFFICE

I'm in these seasons, too

When I'm not in the office, I'm in the thick of it right alongside you. Wife, mom of two, lover of slow mornings, good books, and any excuse to explore somewhere new with my family.

I didn't drink coffee until my second child was born. If that tells you anything about what those early years looked like, you're reading it right.

I believe in the restorative power of unhurried time. It's probably why I bring the same unhurried pace to every session.
