Meet Laura Kauffman

More than 15 years ago, I began my career supporting children and families through life’s challenges. That work eventually led me to what has become my deepest passion: providing perinatal therapy and trauma therapy for women navigating pregnancy, postpartum, parenting, and attachment wounds.

These seasons are messy, beautiful, and deeply formative. They can also surface anxiety, birth trauma, postpartum depression, and relational patterns you thought were long behind you.

As a perinatal and trauma therapist in West Chester, PA, I specialize in helping women who feel overwhelmed, stuck in their thoughts, or disconnected from themselves. Many of my clients are navigating postpartum anxiety, identity shifts in motherhood, or long-standing attachment wounds that resurface during this season of life.

I am trained in EMDR therapy and AEDP, experiential approaches that work with the nervous system - not just the mind. I help women process birth trauma, childhood trauma, and generational patterns so healing happens at the root.

Rather than focusing only on symptom management, our work supports nervous system regulation, trauma processing, and building new relational patterns that feel steady and sustainable.

My style is warm, collaborative, and deeply attuned. Therapy with me is a place to slow down, feel understood, and gently explore what’s beneath the surface. I would be honored to support you in this season.
